Hello beautiful! My name is Marina, and I'm finally pursuing my dream of becoming a beauty guru. My goal you're probably wondering? I, like many other gurus, have a strong passion to help other girls feel their most beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. Everyone is beautiful regardless of skin, race, hair color, eye color, height, weight, etc. And I want to help even one girl feel better about herself in my upcoming journey.

My Story: I, like many other girls in their adolescence, was not so comfortable in my skin... I didn't feel insecure because of boys..or how anyone else made me feel. It was my own self with my own feelings. I was too little to understand and appreciate my heritage of having grandparents from Spain and other roots of German. I remember first watching the movie Bring It On and seeing Missy, who was played by Eliza Dushku, who still to this day is one of my idols. But I remember so badly wanting to just BE like her, LOOK like her, and ACT like her. To the way she wore her hair, to the way she smiled, and even did all those awesome flips! To ME, that was my standard of beauty. Me, of course, not looking anything like her, did everything I could to portray her. Which, obviously as an eight year old trying to portray a rebel, didn't grow up so nice. Not mean, but shy and misunderstood. AS I grew up, I had many different beauty idols throughout my pre-teen, and teen years. From Aishwarya Rai, to Adriana Lima, to Emily Didonato, to Claudia Lynx to even my beautiful friends! I would try to copy their hair, makeup, clothing, personalities! I was turning into a chameleon that wasn't even myself.. But yet somehow, when I was done with these transformations, and somehow managed to justify myself into believing I looked even a little like them, I would get the greatest satisfaction and happiness from it. But later into my teen years when I was around 12 I finally decided I wanted to know MY roots. Where did MY beauty come from? Maybe if I found that out, I could play it up and turn into the most beautiful version of myself. So I talked to my family about it, and I figured out that my mothers side of the family was from Spain! And that my fathers side was from Germany! To me it was such a big deal to know even a little of my roots. So I started looking up Spanish beauty queens. Ximena Navarrette and Perla Beltran were what came up and to me they were so beautiful. So I started to do my makeup, not portray but do my makeup similar to theirs. And you know, I remember being very happy with the result. Except for one thing..How were their lashes so big and beautiful? When mine were just little tiny sparse hairs. Hmm.. I remember shopping at Wal-Mart one day and looking in the False Eyelash section. OH! That's probably how they did it! So I immediately went to Wal-Mart down the road and picked out the most fullest looking pair. They were Salon Perfect #33's. A very large amount of beginners choose this pair. And after putting them on with little to no trouble, I was amazed. SO much quicker than loading on mascara for not even half of the same result! 12 was pretty young for false lashes, but I had so much fun with them! The different pairs and such. Its funny to look back on it now and think hat I've now been wearing false eyelashes for over 9 years. But, they made me feel my most beautiful and even eventually I was confident enough to not even wear anything! I probably also owe that to growing up a bit too.. ;)
But still, I've had many girls come up to me at the mall to this day and ask me to do their makeup and even pay me for it! But that goes to show me that my 9 years of experience may help other girls feel their best inside and out. :)


      SO, with that being said! I will be making a Youtube Channel soon to start my journey as a beauty guru! I will be uploading many makeup tutorials, hair tutorials, and How To's. AND of course anything my subscribers or followers request from me! So if you have a certain look in mind and would like me to demonstrate it or do my example for you, please let me know and I will certainly do my very best take on it! Also if you have any questions, feel free to ask! I will always reply! :)
